PINTREST TIPS: I have been on PINTREST for a VERY long time, pinning things I love to boards, really without any know how at all, MOSTLY I was using PINTREST to find ideas for content to post on my oher social channels. But recently, I have been diving into learning a lot more about just how powerful PINTREST REALLY IS! Where did I learn this??? From PINTREST of course, LOL I started creating better more organized boards, and Rich Pins, and most importantly my niche market what appeals to them. BONUS: I have increased my Followers on Pintrest to 1K more people in just 1 month, and also have increased traffic to my Blog, and my opt-ins. If you are still only using Pintrest to DREAM about yummy food, it is time to take another look at this one folks. They key is to REPURPOSE your content across all channels and use it to point to your social channels, the full circle. Provide Value and Provide lots of Great Content Where to Start on Pinterest: Create a business account. You can convert your personal account over to a business account in one click. This is what I did, but if you want to keep your business account separate, you can create a new account. You also want to verify your blog with Pinterest, so that you can use their analytics! This helps you be google searchable!!! You can also Now Run Ads on Pintrest to Target your niche. Optimize your Pinterest profile. Choose a professional-looking head shot. The second thing you want to do is to include keywords in your profile description. This will help followers find you in search engines! Create board covers that are consistent with your brand. This is an optional step and can be time-consuming if, like me, you have a ton of boards. However, it creates a cohesive and professional look. You should also have at least one board that is a compilation of all the pins from your blog. Create pinnable images. I love Canva for creating my Pinterest graphics (canva automatically will size it for you for Pintrest, but you can also use PicMonkey or any other that you love. The images should be vertical! Once you have your images created, you can add them to your blog posts. I like to create multiple images for the same post.
